Engine History & Condition:
This engine was removed from an aircraft that sustained storm damage, resulting in a propeller strike.
Prior to removal, the engine was documented running while installed in the aircraft using the same propeller from incident as propeller damage is minimal. A video of the engine running on the aircraft is available upon request.
The most recent engine logbook entry, dated July 30, 2026, documents 876.87 hours since overhaul. Based on subsequent aircraft and tachometer records, the estimated current time is approximately 878 SMOH.
The engine’s most recent documented inspection included cylinder compression readings of:
Cylinder #1: 75/80
Cylinder #2: 73/80
Cylinder #3: 68/80
Cylinder #4: 64/80
The inspection also documented no metal contamination found during the oil filter inspection.
