Selling engine firewall forward with all accessories as seen. 

Crank flange dial out .001. Appears to be phase II early case, crank case serial 6A911.  Damage to oil cooler, oil sump and prop strike. Keep for spare parts or rebuild engine.

1.Drained engine oil, cleaned oil screen, reinstalled oil screen with new annular cooper gasket and serviced engine with 12qts. Phillips xc 20x50.

2.Adjusted engine idle speed to 650 rpm.

09/22/25

Continental I0-520-E S/N: 556252 Left engine 

Tach/SMOH: 2454.7 ETT: 4147.0

1. Removed cowling, cleaned engine and cowling.

2: Removed all 6 cylinders sent to Triad Aviation Inc. for IRAN under w/o 29966

3. Removed all 6 connecting rod for overhaul. (Triad Aviation Inc.)

4. Inspected camshaft lobes and hydraulic lifter body faces per Continental SID05-01B, found cam lobes with minor distress(serviceable) and replaced one (1) lifter body with a serviceable hyd. lifter unit. Camshaft to be re-examined upon th accumulation of 100 hours operation or 12 months, whichever occurs first.

5. Installed connecting rods with new bearings and cylinder assemblies in accordance with Cont. Publication M-0 and Cont.

520 Overhaul manual.

6. Inspected intake tubes, no defects found. Installed exhaust pipes and intake tubes with new gaskets.

7. Adjusted loose alternator belt.

8. Cleaned and gap spark plugs.

9. Inspected control cable for security and travel.

10. Inspected airbox assy., installed missing dzus fasteners.

11. Cleaned left wing bottom and /g gear door.

Engine inspection. Engine is past recommended TBO. Cleaned and gapped spark plugs, timing checked, oil drained, screen checked, metal noted on screen and in oil. Ferrous material found in screen and in oil, largest piece 1/2" by 1/8", magnet covered in magnetic material. Also of note there is some type of sealant found in the oil in chunks. Replaced screen, cleaned area for crush gasket of lock tite sealant previously used and put on crush gasket. Replaced oil 10 qts, Compressions on engine 1-15,2-54,3- 50,4-38,5-44,6-35 all over 80, MO 42/80.

Details of work performed are on file with DR Aviation under work order: FAY-1010.

With respect to the work performed, I certify that this engine has been inspected /AW a 100 hour inspection and determined this left engine is unairworthy.

We will email or text more log book entries upon request. 

Engine monitor probes and transducers not included with this sale. Ask us about the engine monitor selling in separate listing.
