This ”SPECIAL” Pratt & Whitney p/n: PWA-1471 Angled 9/16” Crows Foot Tool fits into 3/8” Drive extension ”at an ANGLE”. See photo of first side with wide angled slot and other side with normal 3/8” opening. This allows better angular control when loosening or tightening the nuts when obstacles are in the way in a direct line. As per June, 1945 Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Engine Tools Catalog P1, this Special Tool was made for Starter and Generator Nuts on R985, R1340, R1830, R2000 and R2800 Engines. It can obviously be used on any 9/16” nut that is difficult to get to.
