This baffle wires and spring kit contains the necessary wires and springs for you to create the baffle fasteners that will then fit on your Cessna 210, 1964-1986 - All Models.

The C-210-02 kit contains:

• 1 each 6" wires for making:
  • 0450277-203 (0450277-3)
• 1 each 12" wires for making:
  • 0450277-206 (0450277-6)
• 3 each 20" wires for making:
  • 0450277-209 (0450277-9)
  • 0450277-210 (0450277-10)
• 5 each springs
• An extra 20" wire, just in case...
• Wire bending template

The wires and springs in this kit are not TSO or PMA.

You will finish producing the baffle fastener by cutting the wire to the length needed, using the old wire or the provided template to make the “hook” end, and assess the quality of the part before installing it. By doing these three steps, you have assisted in producing the baffle fastener.

By finishing the wire to its proper length and shape, you have participated in the design and manufacture of the part. It will be your sole responsibility to ensure the quality of the part meets the required quality level. The wires and springs are made from zinc coated ASTM A-228 music wire. They were tested against OEM Cessna baffle wires and passed our rigidity, bend retention and dead weight testing.

Tip from the Field:
The last image shows a tip we received from a customer that did not have any of the old wire to use as a template. They installed the straight wire with the spring as normal. Then they pushed on the head of the wire compressing the spring completely and marked the wire where the hole is. Measuring up a 1/4" they made another mark where they started the bend.
