This is a newly manufactured, or remanufactured, complete drum brake backing plate assembly, with new shoes, slave cylinder, bleed valve, and adjustment screws. Manufacturing date is shown as September 1966. It’s been on a shelf in storage since that date. Just unwrapped from a plastic bag. It should be disassembled and cleaned and inspected for full functionality. You may need to replace the rubber O-rings on the pistons in the slave cylinder. It may be that they are just fine. I am not taking it apart. I noticed that two of the rivets, one on each shoe are loose. Those should be replaced before use. It is so difficult to find new parts for older airplanes, but this is a gem. Bid with confidence.
