DESCRIPTION

 

Working condition of these instruments is unknown. It is recommended that a competent technician inspect these instruments prior to return to service.

 

Instruments were removed from a Beechcraft Queen Air 65-80 that landed gear-up in the 1980s. These instruments have been in long-term storage since then.

 

This lot of seven (7) instruments includes:      ** ©nasa21 – do not copy **

 

- voltmeter, 0-30 DC; no manufacturer’s name; very old overhaul tag affixed to case; glass is clear and free of scratches or cracks; case measures 1 1/4 inches deep; fits in 2 1/4 inch instrument panel hole

 

- gauge, DE-ICING PRESSURE, 0-20; gauge face marked BEECHCRAFT; Standard Products SP519-BEC3; s/n 26; “June 1962” date on back of case; 1 hose fitting attached to back of case; very old overhaul tag affixed to case – date may be “11-09-66”; glass is clear and free of scratches or cracks; gauge face is blemished; case measures 1 1/2 inches deep; fits in 2 1/4 inch instrument panel hole

 

- gauge, MANIFOLD PRESSURE, 10-75 inches; Left and Right needles; gauge face marked BEECHCRAFT; Garwin Inc. p/n 22-260 032; no overhaul or service tags; glass is clear and free of scratches or cracks; case exterior is blemished; fits in 3 1/8 inch instrument panel hole

 

- gauge, CYLINER HEAD TEMP, 0-600º F; Left and Right needles; gauge face marked BEECHCRAFT; Garwin Inc. p/n 22-296-03, s/n 1804; old overhaul dates – “72”, “77”; glass is clear and free of scratches or cracks; fits in 3 1/8 inch instrument panel hole

 

- tachometer, 0-4,500 rpm; Left and Right needles; propeller synchronization window; gauge face marked BEECHCRAFT; Standard Precision p/n SP-5514-3-BEC, s/n 515; Beechcraft p/n 50-380010-9; date on case - “JUL 24 1962”; no overhaul or service tags; glass is clear and free of scratches or cracks; fits in 3 1/8 inch instrument panel hole

 

Two (2) of the following, differing only in case manufacturer:

 

- airspeed indicator, 40-260 knots; gauge face marked BEECHCRAFT; Standard Products p/n SP-5148-3-BEC-1; glass is clear and free of scratches or cracks; fits in 3 1/8 inch instrument panel hole

1 – PIONEER case; date “JUL 24 1962” on case; no overhaul or service tag

1 – LACKNER case; old overhaul tag

 

All instruments are sold as-is and untested. These are USED aircraft parts.

 

Beechcraft built just over 1,000 Queen Air aircraft between 1960 and 1978 -

--- Models 65, A65, 70, 80, A80, B80, 88, plus military models L-23/U-8. Some Model 65 Queen Airs were up-engined via the Excalibur conversion.
