Vintage Sensenich wooden propeller. The serial no. for the prop is 2150, which puts its manufacturing date sometime near the end of the 1930's. The actual model number is illegible due to age and wear, but can possibly be tracked down by contacting Sensenich (they're still in business and keep pretty good records).
This propeller belonged to my late father and I'm not sure when he acquired it -- probably sometime in the 1960's or 70's. To my knowledge, he used the prop for crank-testing used aircraft engines and I'm not sure if he ever actually flew with it. The propeller is approx 65 1/2" long, and 7.5" wide. It's about 4" thick at the hub.

As shown in the photos, much of the propeller's original varnish is worn off and the ends were clipped at some point (possibly to increase engine RPM, I really don't know), but there's no major structural damage as far as I can tell. The Sensenich logos are still quite visible. Also, the prop has never had any kind of restoration work done.
