This is a genuine part Cessna RH Cabin Door Structure Assembly. Removed from a 1972 Cessna 182P. This door was removed from the airplane because the owner wanted to change from a fixed co-pilot/passenger side window to an opening window. In Texas, every bit of air is appreciated while sitting in 100+ degree weather on the ramp. The original door with fixed window (what you are buying) was removed and a different door with a window that can be opened was installed.
Now we have an extra door frame to sell. It was in good shape when removed. There are no signs of major damage or wear. Normal wear is consistent with age. It does not include the glass, door handle assembly, or inner door cover. What you see in pictures is what you will get. Feel free to contact me with any questions or for more photos. Part number was derived from looking up the aircraft serial number on Google. I don’t have a parts catalog to verify.
This would make unique wall art in a man cave or hangar. Or it could be repurposed to fit on another airplane.
