Continental C85-12F, S/N 20886-6-12 removed from Aeronca Chief that nosed over on landing at idle power with prop strike (as reported by previous owner). Crankshaft run-out was performed by previous owner and reported to be 0.002. Purchased to install on my J3 Cub but bought another aircraft. Still in crate that I received it in. Includes 2 engine logbooks dating 01/02/50-06/25/23, left & right mags ignition harness, carburetor, kidney oil tank, baffling, intake manifold and tubes. Buyer sets up and pays for ground freight shipping if not local pickup.
