EAA Chapter 40, does not obtain repair estimates, as we do not repair any planes or parts for our for-sale items. We only facilitate the sale.

Repair of any aircraft or parts will depend on many factors, such as the availability of parts, labor rates, familiarity with the item/aircraft etc. We would never presume to estimate the cost of feasibility or repair or fitness for a given use. Beware of those who give unrealistic low “estimates” for repair of the item/aircraft.

So be sure you have enough information, and funds in place.

The balance of the payment is due within 7 days from the date of bid close.  Full payment is due by the time stated, regardless of whether you have viewed the item/aircraft.   Plan accordingly.
