This is a complete Boeing T50 turbine (turboshaft)engine mounted on its original military test stand. It includes the original control system and large propeller/fan assembly used for testing and demonstration.

I purchased the engine years ago as a running unit and used it regularly as a practical wind machine on film productions. During my ownership it was a reliable runner and consistently started and operated well. Like any vintage military turbine system, it occasionally required routine maintenance over the years (hoses, fuel system components, etc.). It has been in storage for the past couple of years and is being sold in its current condition.
The original control system provides a straightforward startup sequence. Power the system on, hold the start button until the engine reaches operating speed, and it automatically transitions to self-sustaining operation. Engine speed is then controlled with the throttle.

Condition
The engine is vintage military surplus and shows normal cosmetic wear consistent with its age and use. It has been stored for the past couple of years and is being sold as-is. I recommend the buyer inspect and service the system before returning it to operation.
Additional Information
* The fan housing was refinished in black during my ownership. To the best of my knowledge, this is the only cosmetic deviation from its original military appearance.
* I have detailed reference photographs and measurements of the original military stenciling for the fan housing, which could be used to accurately recreate the original markings if desired. I’ll be happy to include those reference files with the sale.
Pickup / Shipping
This is a large, heavy piece of equipment. Local pickup is preferred, but I’m happy to assist with loading or work with a freight carrier arranged by the buyer.
