Hello, and welcome to my auction.  Pictured for sale is an OEM mixture cable as removed from my 1973 Cessna 172M with a Lycoming O-320-E2D powerplant.  Cable is original to the aircraft and has 1266 hours on it as of removal in Dec 2025.  Only reason for removal is I switched to vernier controls during a major panel upgrade.  This unit operates smoothly and has a slightly ‘ratchety’ feel to it, which is completely normal for this cable as that is how its built-in friction mechanism works.  You’ll see serrations in the picture that shows the shaft pulled clear of the housing; that’s the built-in friction mechanism.  

This cable has not been cut down or altered at all from its original factory installation, and is just the right length as installed on these vintage Cessnas.
