Hello, and welcome to my auction.  Pictured for sale is an OEM throttle cable as removed from my 1973 Cessna 172M in Dec 2025.  Cable has 1266 hours on it, still looks good, and operates silky-smooth.  Only reason for replacement was my desire to switch to a vernier control during a major panel upgrade.  Comes with everything you see in the pics.  Has a 10-32 threaded shaft on the end for connecting the desired carburetor interface (heim joint, etc).  Rod end is NOT included.  

With new cables going for 550+, the low price that this cable can be had for is an attractive option, as its got a lot of life left on it!
