Partially assembled and in great shape

1996 Kitfox Speedster kit partially assembled, registered in 2022. The aircraft has never been issued an airworthiness certificate. The kit has had multiple owners and is registered with an N-number. I have the construction manual and build photos. I do not see myself having time to finish it until I retire and that is a long time for it to sit. Empennage- rudder, tail, vertical stab, horizontal stab and elevator are ready to cover. The wiring harness is complete for the items listed below. The wings will need the laker leading edges installed, the pitot probe installed and some sanding before they are ready to cover. The aircraft was configured for the “red brick” reliable O-200 Continental and includes the complete firewall forward package for that engine. It has the grove spring gear installed and I will include the original landing gear. It has a Maule tailwheel, and the control sticks and controls are installed to the point of rigging and assembly. The original instrument panel blank had minor scratches, and I have it for practice and a new blank as well. All wood has been sanded and coated with Stits epoxy varnish and all metal on the wings has been coated with Stits epoxy (green). I had hoped maybe one day it would be on floats and has been prepped accordingly. I believe someone with an engine and prop and the time could be flying this in just a few months. Now the bad stuff. No plastic other than those on the doors is included. No covering supplies included. The plastic protective cover was left on the flaperons, and I have tested with an automotive decals removal wheel with success on removing it. I have found a few small items missing and have had exceptional support from Kitfox in replacing them if they were not available at Aircraft Spruce. I will be happy to show the aircraft to anyone interested. It is sold with an FAA bill of sale and is sold as-is, where-is. It will transport well in the back of 26’ U-Haul truck. Must be picked up within 14 days of auction close. Please ask any question before bidding and come view it or have your representative come view it. I do not want anyone to arrive and feel I have misrepresented it in any way. I am requesting a non-refundable deposit on completion of successful bid within 24 hours. I prefer cash, but will accept electronic payment with the fees paid by purchaser. This item is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end this auction early, however, I will not end it within 24 hours of the auction close.
