(1) Ultralight aircraft/hovercraft/etc small gearbox assembly as shown above. This unit features a 13-1 ratio and is clutch driven from the engine pto, just like a conventional Rotax gearbox or belt redrive. Engine PTO drive mechanism will fit a threaded  3/8" shaft.. Prop shaft is 7/8". Bolt pattern on the flange is 3 1/4 x 3 1/4

As noted we got this gearbox in a hangar buyout we made. Box had tags or such on to the applications or engines, but judging by its design and build it will be for lower horsepower engines, maybe an early Solo, KFM, Rotax or such.
