This IO-320 C1A Data plate was removed from an engine that was parted out. It comes with the engine logbooks. Essentially the data tag is the "engine" and, unlike an airframe it is perfectly legal to build an engine back up with sourced parts around this data tag as long as it is assembled I/A/W the current IPC and it conforms to the TCDS.
Engines are becoming scarcer but you can buy the parts to build one through places like Divco, AEA etc.
