The GE J-85-17A also known as CJ610-4 jet engines are high-quality aviation jet engines designed for military and civilian use on older business jets (Lear 20 series) and military fighters (Northrup F-5. Cessna A-37, T-38) aircraft. Manufactured by General Electric, these engines are highly reliable and durable, providing 2850 lbs. of thrust performance for the aircraft. With the manufacturer part numbers J-85-17A or CJ610-4, these motors were removed from a military aircraft during restoration. Motors last ran in 2006, and have no logs. I have three different engines, the two that came out of the A-37 (all accessories), and a CJ610 core (minimal accessories). the motors have been stored carefully indoors and have never been exposed to the elements.
