Piper Aicraft 487-810 Limit Switch With Bracket 17685-000

This item was purchased from an aviation surplus sale. I do not know the history of it. It is in fair cosmetic condition. It is tagged, "PA 23-250" with no condition status indicated. The switch seems to click normally when I push it. I am not able to test it electrically. It only comes with what is shown in the pictures.
