    up to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.

Gasket is 1/8" thick silicone

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:  

1.      All surfaces must be clean and dry, with no traces of lubrication 

         of any type.   This also includes the threaded holes in the cylinder.

2.      Install gasket DRY and cross tighten to value listed. 

         COLD ENGINE,            25 INCH POUNDS

         WARM ENGINE,           20 INCH POUNDS

         DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN.  

        Over tightening makes the gasket bulge of squeeze out.

3.     Perform engine run up and check for leaks.

4.     IF there is a leak, DO NOT CONTINUE TO TIGHTEN.

        Tightening will only make the leak worse.

        Remove the gasket and examine its condition.

        If it is still serviceable, wash it  BRIEFLY  in hot soapy water,  

        rinse well  & dry off and reinstall.

5.    To reuse the gasket, clean as describe in step 4.

CAUTION - DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN!  

It causes the gasket to bulge or squeeze out.
