The kits were purchased new in 1994. The gentleman who started the project fell ill and donated them and complete set of tools to the EAA chapter. I purchased the kits from the EAA chapter in November 2020(tools were already sold separately). 

Fuselage and Finishing Kits available from Vans with 6-12 months lead times. All other parts still stocked by Vans. 

Since I purchased the kit's I have inventoried everything with the original parts list, I also verified with a updated parts list from Vans.

All the plans and builder logs are here along with newsletters from vans. The tail kit is mostly finished, workmanship is good. The Wing kit has not been started and includes factory assembled spars, one still has the plastic on it. This kits is pre-drilled and punched.  See attached photos. 

The serial number is registered in my name with Vans. Many other parts (rivets, screws nuts, etc.)  and items included.

The reason why I’m selling is because I would really like a RV-8, if this does not sell I will be build it.
