This beautiful 1966 Cherokee 140 is the perfect platform for you to get your pilots license at a fraction of the cost compared to renting. Newer leather interior looks great, paint is nearly flawless. This aircraft has been flown regularly until this year when the owner lost interest in aviation. The aircraft has been hangared for the last 10 years at Gatlinburg Airport (KGKT). There is no notable rust or corrosion.  

The good: No rust or corrosion, no damage, clean leather interior, immaculate paint, complete logs, Garmin 496,  Garmin XM weather link

The bad: Avionics are dated, but appear to be functional. Aircraft has been out of annual since May 5th 2016, but can be annualed at KGKT. Engine is past TBO. Overhaul cost for this engine is $15,995.00. 

Compressions were 65/78/74/74 at the last annual. Cylinders 1&2 have 1343 hours, and cylinders 3&4 have 383 hours .
