Up for sale is my 1968 M20C Ranger. I have owned since 2014 and the previous owner was the one who taught me to fly and he bought it in 2009.  I have known and flown in the plane since 2010.  Always Hangared!

The previous owner Kermit who had his A&P purchased the plane and went through the entire plane and found no corrosion, he did spray anti-corrosion every year.  He put the 201 windshield modification in with all new windows and new interior (Seats, Liner, and Panels), it is like new.  At that time he did not have the original logs, so since he was a machinist by trade.  He went through the engine and did a top-end field overhaul.  I have the list of parts replaced.  This does not extend the TBO but it made him feel more comfortable about what he had. All work was done in 2009-2011.

• Fast & Efficient as most of you know at 140-45 kts at 10gph, Lycoming O-360 180 HP
• VOR Navigation auto-pilot (Turn Only)
• It has the PC wing-leveler
• Center mounted Garmin 396.
• NEW Vacuum Pump installed last year.  It starts easily. Annual completed March 2018
• Compressions 76, 72, 78, 72.
• ACTT 4013, Tach 770, Engine SMOH 1,995, Prop SMOH 1,040. Prop AD's complied.
• Prop hub does have current AD and will need inspection upon 10 hours
• No findings of metal and minor oil useage
• Right wing tank started weeping beginning of 2018, left wing is not. I don't think they have ever been sealed.
• No Corrosion
• One Omni does not work and fuel gauges are not reliable
• Digital fuel flow meter
• Main doughnuts have not been replaced but are in okay shape
• Paint is a 7 out of 10
• Complete Logs

Yes it has been geared up 1981. New engine replaced then and that is the current engine on it now. Only damage was to belly as noted. Current prop was put on new in 1988.  Plane spent 3/4 of its life out west/midwest. The past 9 years it has been here in NC. Nose wheel has a slight shimmy at low speed. I have not flown it as much as I wish I could have, I averaged about 40 hours per year since 2014.  I wish I could keep her but the time is to soon for me to be owning such a bird, it needs to fly more, and I want it to go to a good home.
