Description
This is a propeller from a Cessna L-19. The L-19 was a small plane used by the military (Vietnam era) for Forward Air Control. (The L-19 is commonly referred to as the "Bird Dog.") The motor on the L-19 was 213-hp Continental O-470-11 flat-six piston engine.
It measures 82 inches tip to tip.
This propeller is being sold for novelty purposes only.
It has no paperwork, and its tips have been trimmed, making its use on a plane difficult to impossible. We don't have any expert aviation knowledge, so we cannot make any determinations or representations about the functionality of this propeller or the possibility of having it re-certified for use on an aircraft.
