I had this ADS-B in my RV-7A, it works great with FAA compliance report to prove it. Easy to install because it is a completely stand alone system, keep your transponder. etc this works independent of everything else in your experimental airplane. Provide 12V power, install a 978MHZ antenna, put the included GPS antenna where it can “see the sky”and program the specifics of your experimental aircraft via your smartphone. Start to finish install in my RV-7A took about 3 hours. ADS-B IN reaches your iPad, laptop or other device via bluetooth or can be hardwired to your panel EFIS.
