Vintage Hartzell aluminum propeller blade ~ 34" long and 6" maximum width. The propeller has a bent tip perhaps from a ground strike and was scrapped which ads to its value as a decorative piece for a man cave, store or bar / restaurant. It has the Hartzell red and black logo that says "Built on Honor" and was made in Piqua, Ohio. Hartzell has over a 150 year history and started making its first propellers from walnut in 1917 after consulting with Orville Wright. It is stamped design number FC7666A-4 and SN D93868. It was installed on a 4 blade propeller. The blade can be leaned in a corner, wires or brackets can be added to hang / support it on a wall or attached to a wood base to stand anywhere. The propeller weighs over 15 pounds so can be easily placed. A nice decorative piece with an untold story of its bent tip. BTW, a new replacement blade costs over $4,000.
