1983 Varieze with Continental O200. I have assembled it but not flown it yet. Will need a condition inspection and still needs paint job. The plane is in Florida at the Dennullen Airport. Also listed on Barnstormers.
From the previous owner;
A gentleman named Gene Zabler from Racine Wisconsin was the builder. It has about 1600 hours on the airframe. The Engine was rebuild by Zephyrhills engines about seven ago. They replace the crankshaft, one cylinder, and repaired the case. I put about 50 hours on it before I decided to bring it home and repaint it.The aircraft inventory:
1. VHF Radio
2. 4096 Transponder
3. Apollo GPS
4. Intercom system
5. ELT (Battery expired)
6. Mag compass
7. Turn and slip indicator
8. Altimeter
9. Canopy cover
I am still hunting for the logbooks. I put things away so well I cannot find them. I have the receipt from Zephyrhills engines as well as the builder’s original plans.
