After shutdown, attach one hose to the oil filler neck and the other to the crankcase oil breather line to create a closed loop system linking the inside of your crankcase through the dehydrator. Attach it to U.S. house current, turn it on, and take the inside of your engine from 85%-98% humidity after shutdown down to less than 20%. If you are not going to fly your airplane every week, this may be the best way to protect the internal metals that you bet your life on from corrosion as the oil coating slides off the cam lobes, etc.

Everything works well - as intended. I purchased this unit from Sporty's a few years ago and used it on a new IO520. If you purchase this unit, I recommend that you replace the desiccant - it has plenty of hours recirculating the combustion chemistry of my airplane.
I believe it will cost more than the $45.00 I'm showing to pack and ship the unit - but if I'm wrong, resulting in your overpaying by $5.00 or more, I'll refund the difference in its entirety upon your receipt and acceptance of the unit.
